Ruth writes to TFL about A4/Ealing Road Traffic Lights

Ruth Cadbury MP has again written to Transport for London to ask what steps can be taken to resolve the congestion and delays that have been caused since changes were made to the lights.

Back in 2024 TFL said that the previously used sequencing at the lights was not in line with the national guidelines and changed it to a four phase system.

This means that there is a greater level of traffic and congestion, causing delays to the 65 bus and extra pollution to the homes on Ealing Road and around the surrounding areas.

This is an issue that Hounslow Council and the ward councillors in the three Brentford Wards have been trying to resolve for a number of years and Ruth hopes hope to soon have an update from TFL
