RUTH AND TEAM ‘HAVE-A-GO’ AT ARCHERY AT GREENWOOD OSTERLEY ARCHERS

Ruth Cadbury and her staff were invited by Greenwood Osterley Archers, who are based at the Grasshoppers RFC grounds, to have-a-go at archery this Summer.

Ruth said: ‘We were delighted to accept the offer from Alan to join him and have a go at Archery – a sport that many on my team had never tried before. As first-timers, Alan and his Greenwood team gave lots of support to us and by the end, we all considered ourselves pros! It is great that they are offering beginners courses for those who are interested in Archery and I would encourage people to give it a try – particularly people who don’t consider themselves “sporty”. They may be surprised at how good they are.’

The next beginner’s course starts on Saturday 10 September at 10am. The course runs for six Saturday mornings at the club’s outdoor ground at Grasshoppers RFC in Osterley.
